Check what help you could get with childcare costs…

Use THIS CALCULATOR to find out how much you could get towards funded childcare for children aged between 2 and 4 years old.

Childcare Vouchers

Our nurseries will accept any childcare voucher schemes that are running, so if your employer operates such a benefit, you can save Tax and National Insurance. If you choose to have some of your salary paid as either paper or electronic childcare vouchers (up to £55 per week or £243 a month), you don’t pay tax or NICs on that amount. So your remaining wages are greater after paying for your childcare with vouchers than if you had paid in cash.

Discounts

We offer a 5% discount on the older sibling when two children attend, or 5% discount on one twin sibling. Discounts are also available to NHS staff.

Funding for 2 Year Olds

We are approved for the 2 year old Early Years Education Scheme. Eligible 2 year old children can receive a grant for a maximum 570 hours per year.

The Early Years Education Grant

The Early Years Education (EYE) is a government grant for all 3 and 4 year olds to access early education before they start school. The government grant is currently for a maximum of 570 hours per year, starting from the term after a child’s 3rd birthday. This offer can be taken by 15 hours a week for 38 weeks ( term time) or this offer can be ‘stretched’ over the 51 weeks we are open to 11 hours per week. Towards the end of each term, we will provide parents with the necessary forms to complete enabling us to raise a claim for your child.

Some 3 and 4 year olds can have an extra 15 hours per week for 38 weeks (term time) (570 hours per year) or this offer can be ‘stretched’ over the 51 weeks we are open to 11 hours per week. A government application decides who is eligible. The earliest you can apply is 16 weeks before your child’s third birthday. The latest you can apply is when your child reaches compulsory school age. You must apply online through the Government Gateway. It should take around 30 minutes to do.
